About our course:
The WD Academy 2-Year Course is a fully funded training programme designed for young people who are serious about pursuing a career in the creative & performing arts.
Delivered over a 36-week academic year, students work towards the RSL Extended Level 3 Diploma in Creative & Performing Arts (equivalent to 3 A-Levels). This qualification supports progression into higher education, professional training, or direct entry into the industry.
We provide a supportive and structured environment where students are encouraged to grow both personally and professionally.
Our focus is not only on developing strong performers, but also helping young people build confidence, independence, and clear pathways into their future careers.

Year 1 – Building Strong Foundations
• Training in street dance, jazz, ballet and musical theatre
• Introduction to choreography and creative skills
• Developing discipline, focus and rehearsal etiquette
Year 2 – Preparing for the Industry
• Advanced training across all styles
• Creating and performing original work
• Developing individual style and confidence
• Audition preparation and career guidance
• Introduction to self-employment and industry pathways

Top-Up Course (Optional Enrichment Programme):
Students also have the option to join our Top-Up Course, which provides additional training and industry-focused opportunities alongside the main diploma.
This is ideal for students who want extra hours, more experience, and further development.
Cost: £1,850 per year
Payment Options: Full or termly instalments
Bursary Support: Available for families who may require financial assistance

(17+ guided learning hours per week)
Option 2 – Top-Up Course
An optional add-on for students wanting further training and opportunities

• Southend Airport train station (direct from Stratford & Liverpool Street)
(We may arrange for a local taxi firm to pick up students together from Rochford Station in the mornings and drop-off to the studio if needed)
